PREempt - Virox Sterilisation Test Strips For Cs20 (50-Pack)

For use with 7% AHP and 3% SHP
Surface Disinfectants
Description
Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) Indicator Test
Strips are easy to use dip-and-read reagent strips for
semi-quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide concentration in AHP disinfectant solutions for variety of applications.
Principle of the Test Reaction of the AHP Test is based on a proprietary coupling system where the AHP reacts with an iodide salt and a coupler to form a brown coloured complex.
Direction for Uses
Dip the strip into the test solution for one second, making sure that the reagent pad is fully wet. Gently shake off the excess solution. Wait for 120 seconds then compare the colour on the reagent pad with the reference colour block.
If the colour on the reagent pad falls between two colour blocks, extrapolate the results.
Storage
Store the Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide Indicator Test Strips at room temperature between 59ºF and 86ºF (15ºC–30ºC). Do not expose the strip to direct sunlight.
Important Precautions
Keep the strip in the original container. Remove only the required strip before testing and immediately replace the cap tightly. Exposure of the uncovered strip to light and moisture may cause discoloration of the strip. Do not use the strip after the expiration date (opened or unopened). Do not touch the reagent pad with finger or any other surface.
Once opened the test kits have a shelf life of 6 months. Unopened test kits have an 24 month shelf life.
The following table provides an easy comparison of the dilution rates for the various SHP & AHP products to parts per million (ppm).
Product Concentration & Dilution Rate Calculation of PPM
7% AHP diluted at 1:16* 5000 ppm
7% AHP diluted at 1:64 1000 ppm
3% SHP diluted at 1:128 500 ppm
3% SHP diluted at 1:64 500 ppm
